Purpose of the applications
The apps help you estimate, compare and understand mortgage and home loan scenarios. Depending on the edition, you can explore how variables such as loan amount, interest rate, down payment, term or payment frequency affect estimated repayments and borrowing costs.
Financial disclaimer
Calculations, schedules, affordability estimates and other outputs are for general education and planning. They do not constitute personalized financial, investment, lending, mortgage, legal, accounting or tax advice. Through these apps we provide calculator tools. We do not act as your lender, loan originator, mortgage broker, credit intermediary or regulated financial adviser.
An estimate provides no loan approval, pre-approval, financing commitment, binding rate quote or assurance of eligibility. Confirm actual offers, fees, terms and eligibility with the relevant lender. For significant financial decisions, consult an appropriately qualified professional. Where an app offers automated explanations, verify important information independently because those explanations can contain errors or outdated information.
Calculation accuracy and limitations
Results depend on your inputs, the calculation model and any assumptions or reference information used. Actual costs can differ due to lender-specific compounding, rounding, repayment timing, rate changes, fees, taxes, insurance, underwriting or changes in law.
Treat defaults and examples as illustrative unless explicitly identified as dated, sourced observations. A central-bank policy rate, a survey rate and a lender quote describe different things. Review the inputs and assumptions and confirm material figures independently before making a commitment.
Regional calculations
- United States. PITI, mortgage insurance, affordability and similar figures are planning estimates. References to FHA, VA, USDA or conventional lending do not establish eligibility or government approval.
- Canada. Estimates involving mortgage default insurance or qualifying rates depend on the assumptions used. Confirm insurance and mortgage qualification with the relevant provider.
- Australia. Estimates for lenders mortgage insurance or stamp duty may differ from actual costs and can depend on the lender, state or territory.
- India. Equated Monthly Instalment (EMI) scenarios depend on the loan terms and inputs. Reference rates do not establish what a bank will offer. Check any tax treatment or scheme eligibility independently.
- Europe. Lending rules, taxes and property costs vary by country. Check the assumptions for the market you select and confirm any local requirements independently.
- New Zealand. Check loan-to-value assumptions and any applicable lender requirements. References to KiwiSaver or assistance programmes, where shown, do not establish eligibility.
- Global. Check the currency, repayment method and assumptions shown for your scenario. A general model may omit local lending conventions, fees, taxes or eligibility rules.
Your responsibilities
Use the app lawfully and check that your inputs match the scenario you are evaluating. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security or normal operation, exploit vulnerabilities, distribute malicious code or unlawfully reproduce protected material.
App licence and intellectual property
Subject to applicable law and these Terms, you have a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app for its intended lawful purposes. The software, original designs, logos and documentation remain the property of the publisher or their respective rights holders. Permission to use the app does not transfer ownership. Applicable statutory rights and permissions granted under open-source or other licences continue to apply.
Advertising and third-party services
Some editions display advertising. The Google Play listings linked above for the USA, Global, Canada and Australia editions disclose ads. Ad availability and formats may vary by version, region and settings. An ad is not a publisher endorsement of a lender, advertiser or product. Independent providers can apply their own terms and privacy notices. See the Mobile App Privacy Policy for how it covers advertising and related data processing.
Paid features and billing
If the app offers an optional paid feature, review the price, benefits and any applicable billing, renewal and cancellation terms displayed before purchase. Purchases made through Google Play also follow the applicable Google Play payment and refund rules. If you buy a subscription that renews automatically, follow its cancellation instructions to stop future renewals. Cancellation by itself does not necessarily refund earlier charges. Mandatory consumer rights apply to purchases and refunds.
Privacy and data processing
The Mobile App Privacy Policy applies to the seven Android packages listed here. It explains calculator inputs, local storage, online features, applicable providers, retention and your choices and rights. What applies depends on the edition, version and features you use. The separate Website Privacy Policy explains data handling when you visit this site.
External information and links
The app may show public reference information or links to external sources. External information can change independently of the app. Check current information with the responsible organization before relying on it. Independent third-party services operate under their own terms. We are responsible for our own obligations under applicable law.
Updates and availability
We may update calculations, security, compatibility, usability or supported features. Some features may depend on your Android version, an internet connection or a third-party service. Availability may change or be interrupted. Where required by law, we will give appropriate notice of material changes and provide any applicable remedies.
Warranties
The app is provided as available, subject to the warranties, guarantees and other obligations that applicable law makes mandatory. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee continuous operation, error-free estimates or suitability for a particular financial decision.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for loss caused solely by inaccurate inputs you supply or by your independent financial decisions where the loss is not attributable to our conduct or breach of duty. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
Consumer rights
You retain mandatory protections and remedies under the law that applies to you. This includes applicable consumer and digital-service protections in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, India, the United States and other jurisdictions. If these Terms conflict with a mandatory protection, that protection prevails to the extent of the conflict.
Governing law and disputes
Indian law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory local consumer protections and applicable jurisdiction rules. You can contact us about a dispute or correction. You retain access to any court, consumer body or remedy available to you under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms when the apps, applicable laws or operating practices change. The revision date appears at the top of the page. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes and seek any required consent. A revision does not take away rights already acquired under applicable law.
Severability
If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
